Wondering Where to eat Vegan or Vegetarian food in Hoi An?
There are many vegan cum vegetarian restaurants in Hoi An which are even cheaper than the Vietnamese street food. If you are a vegan and is on a budget trip to Vietnam then you should try these places. They serve local Vietnamese food which is made of various vegetables like pumpkin, okra, soybean, green beans, tofu, mushroom, coconut, rice, corns, bitter gourd & much more.
During our 2 weeks in Hoi An, we have tried multiple vegetarian food options. As we were on a fixed daily budget so we have loved these 2 places which are highly recommended.
- Quan Chay Dam: This place is located just on a small street on the famous old ancient town. You can find this place on Google maps. This has a dining and also has a take away. The average price of 1 meal is really cheap i.e. approx $1 per meal. You can choose your vegetables from various options and choice of rice or noodles.
- Tam Quang Minh: This place is located 1-2km walk from the central town but is quite peaceful. This is big and has enough space for a big group. The avg price is $1 for 1 meal with enough quantity.
The people are amazing at these places and you will fall in love with them. Even though they will not understand english but they will understands you for sure. We mostly found women at these places who are really hard working people. Enjoy and have a great meal.
