It’s August, and summer in Delhi, NCR is still hitting hard. So, no welcome to winter clothes, summer closet is still on. Whenever shopping comes to my mind then I’d go to Sarojini Nagar first than any other places. That’s obvious, every Delhi girl’s love to shop from Sarojini Nagar market because it’s pocket-friendly and totally fashionable. You gonna find each & every latest trend there ever.
But this time I tried something different as I wanted to go a street style look so I decided to go online shopping. But not from Flipkart, Myntra, Jabong, Amazon or any website which sells products which actually have same stuff all around. I don’t like to buy stuff which is trending everywhere because that stuff has already been showcased everywhere especially through the very famous social media platform – Instagram. On Instagram, I can easily find out the number of people wearing the same stuff & trends.
Being a fashion & lifestyle blogger, I always love to do experiment with my look & choose something different which one use to. I am always concern about what I wear & how I style! Recently, I came across this website called www.leelan.com, which have their own designs and collections. Their collection is exclusive and extraordinary which you can’t find on other websites.
I bought a white & red stripe crop top, a plain red skirt, & a multi-purpose black shrug from their unique collection. I am kind of girl who loves to go for a comfortable and chic look so, I have finished my look with silver sneakers which is actually not a bright silver, it’s sort of dark silver. I have not added any sort of accessories in this look because sometimes I love to go a non-clingy, relaxed and breathable clothing with no worries of additional accessories. We all girls love wearing skirts, especially in summers! Having a skirt in your wardrobe is a symbol of carefree and feminine personality for every fashion girl. The twirling & relaxed feel of wearing a skirt is always a fun for me since childhood.
If I talk about a crop top then, it is a versatile piece of clothing which is a trend for a while now. Why versatile because it can be styled in many different ways like with skirts, pants, palazzos, track pants, dungarees, and denim. And yes, not just for a western wear look, a crop top can be styled with Ethnic wear outfits as well which turns a simple look into a glamorous one. Crop top trend can be dated back to 80’s to today’s lifestyle. Some of the major breakthrough such as in movie Flashdance and also Madonna featured in her album song Lucky star, Britney Spears knot a crop shirt in her song Hit me, baby, one more time!
